We moved into our house a little bit over a year ago and have been slowly decortating and making it our own. The one room that had been at the top of my list for months was Madeleine’s! When we moved in we basically decorated her room the same way her nursery was in our old house. Instead of a crib, we went for a toddler bed with a twin size mattress. I was so pregnant and just wanted her to feel at home. I’m happy I waited because it gave her a chance to help decorate which made it even more special. That’s why I’m so happy to share this bright & fun space with you guys!
I did a lot of repurposing and sale shopping to make this all come together. Since she’s still so young I didn’t want to go crazy with a theme. I decided to take her to Target and let her pick out some things from their Pillowfort line. It’s all so fun and it really kept the room bright & fun!
This corner is so much fun! I had been eyeing up the cardboard animal heads for some time before I came across these at Target. They’re one of the first things you see when you walk in the room and I just adore it. The girls will sit and play piano together and giggle for hours- it’s so adorable. It was a gift from grandma but I’m pretty sure she ordered off Amazon!
There are still a few things that need to be done (like refinishing the hardwood!) but those things will come in time. Madeleine absolutely LOVES her space and we hope you do too!
